The quality of the food, the friendly staff, the ambiance and you, John, being on the premises and overseeing "what's hot and what's not" is a much welcome and needed addition to Vista.

As most of you know, my wife and I really enjoy dining out and finding great little restaurants in the San Diego area.............especially small eateries that cater to its customers and have great food.

For the past year, we've been enjoying the breakfast & lunch fare at Curbside Cafe in Vista, CA on a fairly regular basis and I wanted to pass along my recommendation. As you know, I don't recommend anything unless it's top-notch..........and Curbside Cafe is it!

Actually, it's our favorite restaurant of any type! It's unpretentious, has wonderful friendly service, great food, & very reasonable prices.........including the beer!

The owner, John Randall, works very hard at maintaining the reputation he's garnered over the past few years and the restaurant has remained consistently good on every level.

I'd suggest checking out his website and reading the September 2006 review from the North County Times newspaper:

IT'S THE COOLEST CAFE IN SO.CAL....I WOULD GO EVERYDAY IF I COULD, ALTHOUGH I ALMOST DO.
THE ATMOSHERE,THE SERVICE AND THE SERVERS ARE ALL FIVE STAR....
NOT TO MENTION HOW FABULOUS THE MENU IS...AND BEING A BACK EASTERNER I KNOW GOOD FOOD. AND JOHN'S CINNAMON ROLLS ARE A TRUE COMFORT FOOD.
TO ME CURBSIDE IS A DELIGHTFUL EXPERIENCE ALL THE WAY AROUND AND A GREAT WAY TO START THE DAY.
COME ON DOWN YOU'LL GET HOOKED TOO.....
